Slimbridge WWT: 14th Feb 2019

SLIMBRIDGE WWT

The first Wetland and Wildlife Trust established by Sir Peter Scott on the edge of the Severn Estuary north of Bristol.

The site has several pools and lakes representing different areas of the world and exhibiting a range of ducks and geese from those areas. The site is ringed by hides looking out onto wild birds on both lagoons and meadows where they feed. This page features solely the wild birds

During the early afternoon the lagoons tend to be quiet as the birds move out to feed on the estuary or the meadows, but all return to the lagoon around teatime giving spectacular views as they fly in either singly or in groups
