Birdwatching in Northumberland
A Birdwatching trip to the Farne Isles is usually based around the seabirds on the Islands... particularly Puffin, Guillemot, Razorbill, Shag and Arctic Tern.
However, there is plenty of scope for Birdwatching in the countryside and beaches away from the Islands. There is a rich variety of species to be seen on the coast, rivers and lakes, as well as in the countryside.
All of these species were taken on mainland Northumberland in the vicinity of Seahouses
