On the several visits to Kelham which have failed to produce a Kingfisher it has been a delight to walk around to the other hide to photograph the Pheasants... mind you it proved a dangerous activity when a cock pheasant shot into the hide and out through the window i was looking out of, catching me a glancing blow with its wing!!
