WELNEY WWT
18th January 2020
January is a great time to visit Welney as the visiting Whooper Swans are there in winter, often as many as 500 on the Washes. This year was slightly different, due to the heavy rain the washes were flooded and most of the swans were away in the fields to feed, so there were'nt many to see on the reserve... however... there were enough to get some pictures!!
