BROWNSEA ISLAND

The lagoon on Bownsea Island is home to many species, both resident and passing through, so you never really know what you are going to see. Hopefully there will be Red Squirrel and Sika Deer to see.
The benefit of visiting in May or June is that the islands in the lagoon are an important breeding site for Sandwich Terns, and you can expect to see several hundred during the breeding season
