Calke Abbey Bird Hide: 28th October 2018

Calke Abbey
Ticknall, Derbyshire
Car Park Bird Hide

The car park hide at Calke Abbey is usually pretty busy, attracting a range of mainly garden birds, and on a good day 15-20 species can be recorded.

Another visit to the hide, and most of the usual suspects were there in abundance. No surprises or unexpectred species but this time the Marsh Tit and Coal Tit were more co-operative in sitting on a branch, albeit briefly, to have their photographs taken.
