It is normal practice for a helicopter to land on the centre circle at the King Power Stadium about an hour after the final whistle to collect the LCFC Chairman and his guests to take them home from the match.
On Saturday 27th October the helicopter cleared the stadium then crashed to earth and exploded in a fireball killing all 5 occupants.
Leicester City owner, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, died along with two of his assistants and the two pilots. "The Boss" was loved by everyone connected with the club and the city of Leicester... he brought about the remarkable Premier Championship 2 years earlier and was a huge benefactor to charity and the city as a whole.
