BLACK HEADED GULL

An unusually bright morning, the gulls were flying almost constantly. This page is primarily Black Headed Gulls in Winter plumage, but there new a few Juvenile Common Gull and a couple of Tufted Ducks in for good measure

The Black Headed gull is not brilliantly named... the head is chocolate brown in summer and white, with 2 black spots on the side, in winter.
