CHEDDAR GORGE

Somerset

My first visit to Cheddar Gorge... a long way for a day trip, but definitely worth the effort. The scenery is beautiful and we picked a glorious autumn day of bright sun and blue sky. Walking up Jacobs Ladder and across the top of the gorge is breath-taking in every way and certainly not a walk for the faint hearted of frail!!!.

Lincoln; 25th September 2018

LINCOLN

A city of History, with a magnificent Gothic Cathedral, housing the legendary Lincoln Imp,(10th Image down) and Lincoln Castle with it's Victorian Prison and copy of the Magna Carta.

The Cathedral and Prison both sit facing each other at the top of the city and a narrow cobbled steep hill leads down into the modern city.
